About Us
Allow me to take a moment to explain our exclusive methods and services. We have been in North Carolina for over 22 years. We service clients from Rock Hill, SC to Davidson, NC and from Lake Wylie, SC to Concord, NC and most cities in between. We specialized for nine years on the West Coast in Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Laguna Beach and the Santa Barbara areas. Most of our services can be done on premises and we are highly recommended. We have set new carpet, furniture, drapes, and rug care standards for many residential and commercial clients. We specialize in cleaning and maintaining the more expensive line of carpets, oriental rugs, upholstery, tapestry and drapery fabrics.
Did you know that nine out of ten carpet and upholstery manufacturers and most knowledgeable retailers do not recommend steam cleaning for any of their products? The steam cleaning process can damage the fibers of carpets and rugs, and the fabrics of furniture and drapes. Our exclusive eleven step "SHOWCASE CLEANING METHOD" is a deep cleaning process that produces long-lasting results. It can increase the life of your items. What we clean stays clean longer. This saves money on costly repairs or replacements. Unlike all other cleaning methods, our method leaves no residues to dull or increase the occurrence of soiling. Most methods are basically one or two step processes. Let me explain a little about the different cleaning methods available and why ours is the best.
The steam cleaning method is basically 170-270 degree water mixed with an oil-based emulsifying soap. This is injected into the carpet under very high pressure and vacuumed out all in the same stroke. This not only pushes dirt to the base of the carpet, but also gets the carpet much too wet! This can damage the backing of any carpet. The worst part is the oil emulsifier is never rinsed out of the carpet, causing a residue and dirt build-up over a very short period of time. This shortens the life of the carpet drastically!
The Chemdry method is basically carbonated water and chemical cleansers sprayed on the carpet or upholstery, rotary brushed with a pad and towels, or sometimes vacuumed then raked.
The Host method is basically saw dust which is soaked with chemical cleansers and dried. This is sprinkled on the carpet and then machine brushed and vacuumed off.
The Dry Foam method is basically a machine that pumps soap foam on the surface of the carpet, brushes it, then vacuums it off.
The Plain Shampooing method even with the best shampoo and chemicals is still a surface cleaner.
The Chemdry, Host, Dry Powders, Dry Foam, and other similar methods were invented as maintenance systems for commercial carpeting. They are meant to be used on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or 90-day basis minimum, starting from the time the carpet is new. They are not deep cleaning methods and they all leave a dirt-attracting residue after each cleaning.
Fabrics are fabrics, there is not much difference between carpet fabric and the fabric your clothes are made from. They are either natural or synthetic fibers. Steam cleaning, host, dry chemical, foam, plain shampooing, and similar methods lack one very important step....hot water extraction. In laymen terms this would be like washing your clothing in a machine without a rinse and spin cycle. Would you dry and wear your clothes without rinsing them? NO! So, why would you leave most of the dirt, soap, and residue in your carpets, oriental rugs, drapes, or furniture?
Our special dry cleaning equipment and methods make it possible to clean drapes, upholstery, and some rugs without removing them, or paying a pickup and delivery charge.
